Annual Supper and Presentation of Prizes

13 October 2006

Another successful annual supper was held in the clubhouse on Friday 13 October 2006. The Chairman, President George McGaffin, welcomed the top table guests, along with the members, invited guests and those representing the associated clubs.

Venue Caterers excelled themselves on this occasion. The quality of the meal provided was superb and as usual it was served in an efficient friendly manner by Robert Mills and his staff. before the "chairman's remarks" during which President McGaffin spoke of achievements in the season just ended. The toast to the Vale of Leven Bowling Club was proposed by Ian Campbell of the Brock Bowling club. The prizegiving then commenced with Honorary President John Nicolson doing the honours.
